My Kind of Beautiful

 Class Length: 2-3 hours

Class Description: Create this awe inspiring keepsake of all your favorite photos, beautifully encased with in a covered cascade tabletop album. Learn how to combine the soft texture of natural canvas with a colorful blend of patterned papers to create a "beautiful" cascade style album. Adding fun embellishments and interesting accents, you will expand your knowledge of handstitching with floss threads, stamping, book altering and distressing. Don't let the hand stiching intimate you. If you can thread a needle, you can sew in this class.

Journey of Me

Class Length: 3 hours

Class Description: Come take a journey with Donna. Spend two hours creating a gorgeous 9 x 9" gatefold CARDBOARD album. You will make this unique, textural gate fold album from what may seem to the untrained eye as stuff you meant to throw away. Turn unusual items into treasure as we cut, distress, assemble, alter and most of all have fun creating a special album to document your life and your journey through it. You will learn techniques using mod podge, natural canvas, gaffer tape, grommets, and distressing inks.

Skill level: Intermediate - take trash to a treasure

 

A Year in the Life

Class Length: 4-5 hours

Class Description: Within this 4-5 hour workshop we will complete a 12 x 12 scrapbook album based on one full year of your life. You will learn tips on how to better sort through one year�s worth of photos, to compile, document and capture the story of you and/or your family as well as gain the confidence to crop the photos you have to better tell your story at a glance. Donna will guide you as to weening down your photo piles. Together we will work to design and create your album in the comfort of a work at your own pace style atmosphere. We will play with Ranger Paint Daubbers, foam stamps, fontwerk and lazar stamps.
