Antique Blue, Eggplant, Custard Cream and Rustic Rose.
Wonderful names but I really struggled with these colors. Finally I found a sweet photo of Valentina and my godson Tiziano back in 1989 when Tiziano's mother used to come after work and pick my girls and take them to play at her apartment which was right on the floor above ours.

of the texture :gesso, doilies, stencils and mist, paint splatters and punched circles + my fave technique of the moment which is free motion stitching. I finally found a free foot for my Doris (my Bernette 15) last time I went to Finland and so I gave myself an early Christmas present;)
Now I have to run and finish packing our suitcases. Leaving for Athens at the crack of dawn tomorrow. My dear dear friend Elina will tie the knot! See you next week.
