This week's challenge at CSI #30 was all about muted dusty colors which was a nice change to all the bright color palettes we've had this month. Don't get me wrong, I love bright colors very much but I was happy to try something out of my comfort zone.
I masked and misted, used molding paste and stitched to my heart's content. The photo is of my godson and his girlfriend and was just perfect for this page.
I cracked the case using metal (staples) and dripping (the silver paint) and journaled about four favorite things about the photo:
- my favorite couple (at the moment)
- love how easy it was to shoot them
- they are so fresh, young and in love
- they enabled me to finish an assignment for my photography class and discover the potential of my 85mm lens
