Fabulous Finland

Qualche volta mi scordo quant'è bella la Finlandia, specialmente d'estate. Si vede che lo prendo per scontato. Queste sono alcune delle più belle foto che ho scattato questo agosto durante la nostra vacanza.

Sometimes I forget how beautiful Finland is, especially in the summertime. I guess I take it for granted. These are some of the best shots taken this August during our vacation.

 

 

  

 

 

  

 

 

London - colors, trends and traditions

Comincio ad apprezzare Londra anche se non ci vivrei mai. Durante la nostra visita di 10 giorni a luglio abbiamo trovato bel tempo e mi sono divertita a scattare centinaia di foto. Mi sono innamorata di una Londra piena di colori.

I'm starting to appreciate London even though I would never live there.  During our 10 day visit in July we had nice weather and I enjoyed taking hundreds of pictures. I fell in love with all the colors all around.

Home Sweet Home

è bello stare a casa dopo un'estate molto movimentata!
I nostri viaggetti sono cominciati a metà giugno con 3 settimane tra Creta e Mykonos (le foto nel post precedente), poi 2 settimane a casa, poi sono partita per Londra con Andrea dove abbiamo passato 10 giorni. Tornati a casa, ho fatto giusto in tempo a fare qualche lavatrice e rifare le valigie e siamo partiti di nuovo. Questa volta la meta era la Finlandia dove Kristina ci ha raggiunti e dove abbiamo passato 2 belle settimane sul lago.
Adesso sono contenta di stare a casa, almeno fino a ottobre!
Posterò le foto di Londra e della Finlandia entro un paio di giorni.

So happy to be home after a very busy summer travel wise. Our first destination was Crete and then Mykonos where we spent 3 fabulous weeks. (photos on the previous post). After that we stayed at home for two weeks before Andrea and I took of for 10 days in London. I had barely time to do some laundry and repack and off we went to Finland where Kristina met us. We had a wonderful two weeks at the lakeside.
Now I'm just happy to be home... at least until October!
I'll post photos of London and Finland in a couple of days' time.
