Haven't had time to blog for a week but it seems like more. Andrea has been sick, first with a cold and a sore throat and then with an ear infection. Finally he's better, those antibiotics really kicked in. And it was about time! He's been really good though, I can't complain.
To pass the time and to do something together we started doing a puzzle the other day. And us being us, brave and somewhat megalomaniac, I admit, we tackled a 1000 piece puzzle of Michelangelo's ceiling painting of the Sistine Chapel. °_° The border is done now. I bet it will take us weeks to finish, but that's ok, we are not in a hurry.
And on Sunday my sweet hubby with his assistant made me other two drawers for my desk.
Now it's complete and looks like this:
Actually on all the drawers is still lacking the front panel but this is good enough for me for now.

I have also done some scrapbooking the last few days. This is a layout I made for Cocoa Daisy's March scraplift taking inspiration from the sketch we were given. I used papers from CD's Dec. kit and other supplies from my stash.
The journaling tells from Andrea's point of view who Grandma Jo is ("She's my Mom's American Mom when Mom went to Indiana as an exchange student in 1975. Thats' why we have also an American family and I have my Grandma Jo."
In these two layouts I used Cocoa Daisy kits + some other supplies.
This is an example of how you can easily use pink in a boy's layout and it doesn't make it look girly.
Here I used my new Martha Stewart Loopy border punch. Photos are from last year when we went to Finland with Andrea in February because he wanted to go when there was snow. We usually go for summer vacation so this was a nice change. Well, "nice". He loved the snow, me not so much. :)
I splattered the background with some Making Memories acrylic paint and added some Heidi Swapp ghost snow flakes on which I had swiped a tiny bit of the same acrylic paint.
