is Wendy Vecchi's favorite saying. I used that for my CCC#6 challenge. You can read all about this week's challenge and technique on Linda's blog. There are also nice prizes for some lucky ducks!
Here's my card:
Materials used for the background (DI swoosh technique which I love) are Rusty Hinge, Spiced Marmalade and antique Linen and then I blended in some Wild Honey. The pic doesn't do justice to the colors but I took 10 photos with different WB (white balance) settings from custom to automatic and nothing seems to work. (Darn I lost my grey card while in the States! It costs only 5 bucks but it's priceless for me to set the WB. ) Or maybe it's my Mac? I even tried to Photoshop the colors but to no avail. The oranges are more luscious IRL. Take my word for it :)
Anyway the stamp is hmmm, I got it at JoAnn's. The book page covered grungeboard letters are adhered with foam squares to the card. And I used some DI Frayed Burlap and Brushed Corduroy to outline them. The word "make" is MM rub-ons.
I'll have to skip the next two challenges since I'm leaving for Finland (the temp should be a little bit cooler there) but I'll be back in August!
