is a layout I made last night for a new (for me) challenge blog White With 1 which I discovered browsing Lindy's, a fellow scrapper from TCR and CCG, lovely blog.
White With 1 is basically a blog which provides monthly challenges to scrappers that contain the basic colour scheme of white with... 1 other colour & 1 other requirement ...this could be an element, technique, product type
May's challenge which closes tomorrow, is WHITE + ORANGE + SCALLOPS.
I didn't think it would be so much different but I just loooooooooooved creating basically a monochromatic page because I used so much orange in different shades and tones. And used different medias.
I used white paint on the white background, orange Glimmer Mist "Tiger Lily" with Tim Holtz's flourish mask, "Copper" Dabber with bubble wrap, "sepia" Archival Ink for the mini dot stamp, Distress Ink "Rusty Hinge"with the roll-on script stamp, WeR Memory Keepers large eyelets (putting them on the layout was the most difficult task even though I tried both the Crop-a-dile and the Big Byte!!! geez), Fancy pants rub-ons, ancient chipboard letters (can't even recall now the manufacturer!), tickets and some scraps of which one is scalloped, orange thread for machine stitching and some EK Success orange/copper pearls and one special metal button underneath the ticket which is made by my Mom when she used to do crafts and made and painted decorative metal buttons.
All these different media and products are more visible in these closeup shots:
