Here's my take on the challenge
I absolutely loved the color scheme and I just had the right photo to scrap.
I used a lot of mixed media on the background to build layers: gesso, ink, stamping, acrylic paint and stitching.
For the evidence I used ribbon, transparent element (film strip) and rub-ons (grey flowers and hearts and black and green elements and text).
The arrows are old Heidi Swapp extra large photo corners which I cut. The smaller ones on top of the photo are actually cut out from the package.
For my testimony I journaled about an event, that of Kristina coming home for vacation (she lives in New Zealand) and how she and Valentina hadn't seen each other for 14 months. This photo just melts my heart. The journaling is on the back of my layout.
A couple of detailed shots
Did I say thet I loved working on this page? ;)
EDIT: I forgot to mention that I used Em Stafrace's fabulous Page Draft on this page. You can find more of them here.
TFL!
